It’s the day Lovatics have been waiting for: Demi Lovato’s latest album,Demi, is out now, and she’ll be “Live From MTV” at 3 p.m. ET on MTV.com and MTV Hits for an exclusive live stream.

Since Lovato previewed the album in its entirety last week, she’s heard everything fans have had to say about her latest project.

“They weren’t expecting it at all, and that’s kind of what made it so fun,” she told MTV News. “The most common thing that I’ve heard is they love every single song on it. My goal for this album was not to put a song on the album that was just filler. A lot of times there are album fillers, and that was not my goal. I didn’t put a song on the album that couldn’t potentially become a single. So there’s going to be a lot of singles off this album, which I’m excited about.”

The girl-power tone on the album, which includes a duet with feisty British songbird Cher Lloyd, certainly was set by the album’s lead single, “Heart Attack.”

“It was a great first single. It was a strong, confident song right off the gate, saying, this is who I am and in your face,” she said. “My whole thing is just about women empowerment. I think women can do so much to change the world. Like women created, gave birth to men, so they should just remember that! I’m a bit of a feminist, and I think there are so many great opportunities.

“When I shared my story, I had so many great opportunities to connect with my fans. And I feel like, even if I were to come out and say, this is who I am, I have so many fans who support me, because we connect on such an emotional and personal level,” she said.
