Demi Lovato is headed to Vegas, baby! The singer is set to present at the star-studded iHeartRadio Music Festival next week.

MTV News can exclusively confirm that the “X Factor” judge will be on hand for the festivities on September 21 when it all goes down at the MGM Grand. She will join fellow presenters “X Factor” co-judge Britney Spears and Olympian Ryan Lochte as well as Ryan Seacrest, who is set to host the event.

Among others, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Usher, Lil Wayne and Pink have all been announced as performers at the two-day festival.

“The iHeartRadio Music Festival is a unique celebration of music — it’s the biggest names in the industry coming together for an impressive weekend of live entertainment,” Seacrest said in a statement earlier this summer about the shows. “The momentum, energy and music experience around the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival was incredible, and I’m excited to be a part of this must-see event.”

The new gig comes during a busy time for Lovato. She took the stage and a Moonman at the VMAs last week, and she’s currently one of the newbie judges on the ”X Factor,” which kicked off earlier this week. And, she recently opened up to MTV News about joining the show for the revamped second season.

“I think people are really gonna like it. It’s really funny,” she shared. “It’s really honest and there’s tons of drama that goes on backstage between the contestants. Which I think is going to be pretty fun to watch.”

Judge Demi Lovato came under attack on the premiere of X Factor Wednesday night.

Before taking the stage, Shawn Armenta, 50, told the cameras he’s been training for his audition for one year and six months. “This is my passion,” Armenta told the cameras. “I’m a singer and a dancer.” Unfortunately for Armenta, his performance of his original song “Candy Girl” didn’t impress the judges.

“You’re like a mouse trying to be an elephant,” Simon Cowell, 52, said. “It’s just wrong.”

Armenta argued, “I worked way too freakin’ hard for this and I’m not a bad singer. I know I’m not.”

But Lovato, 20, agreed with Cowell and said, “A lot of people work really, really hard for their dreams, but it’s not meant for everybody.”

“That’s why you use Auto-tune and I don’t,” Armenta told the “Skyscraper” singer.

Stepping in to defend Lovato, judge Britney Spears, 30, told the contestant, “I want to know who let you on stage. I feel uncomfortable with you just staring at me.” L.A. Reid, 56, was the next judge to speak up and told Armenta it was time to get off the stage.

“I’m a better writer than you,” the contestant said before walking off stage.
