Unlike most of Hollywood, Demi Lovato admittedly isn’t a Gleek. She’s super busy these days working on an album, touring and promoting “Camp Rock 2.” So, it’s kind of unsurprising she hasn’t had the time to check out “Glee” just yet. But, she has found a reason to watch and his name is Chord Overstreet.

You see, the “Camp Rock 2″ cutie and the newest Gleek are old friends. “I’ve actually never seen ‘Glee’ before but one of my good friends just booked it and I’m really proud of him,” Demi told MTV News. “So his name is Chord and he’s like a brother. “I’m really excited for fans to hear pretty much all the songs. A lot of the songs are really fun and they’re dance songs, but there’s also songs that are kind of emotional,” Lovato told MTV News at tour rehearsals. ” ‘It’s Not Too Late,’ I really enjoyed singing it. I loved performing it,” she added. “And also ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing’ is a song that’s really fun to perform because I really get to showcase my voice.”

Of course fans will enjoy hearing “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” if only because it reunites Lovato and Joe Jonas — on record, at least. “Yeah, it sounds really great [performed live],” she said. “And it’s fun too. We’re having a good time with it.” • Read full story…

Are you guys excited to hear new songs and the new sound? What are your expectations?.

Following her highly publicized break-up with middle brother Joe, Lovato is heading out on tour with the Jonas Brothers and the rest of the “Camp Rock 2” crew this week. She took time to talk to CNS exclusively about her new music, new sound, and touring with her ex-boyfriend.

CNS: It’s been a year since your last album, “Here We Go Again, and I hear you’ve been working on your third album already. What can you tell me about what you’ve written or recorded so far?

Demi Lovato: The new album so far it’s a little more pop, it’s more R&B. It’s a little more soulful. It has a different sound to it so I’m really excited to see how it turns out.

CNS: So it’s a little bit of a departure from your rock sound?

DL: Kind of, but I feel like I’m going to be doing that too so I might be incorporating rock and R&B. • Read full story…

Here’s a new audio clip interview of Demi Lovato on Ryan Seacrest Show on July 30, 2010.

I was lucky enough to attend the Shop Til You Rock event in Alpharetta, GA on July 24th, where I was able to interview her for BSCKids. The video is below, in which I asked about Sonny with a Chance and her other projects like her upcoming album. I think the interview is very informative and is a must see for any Demi Lovato fan.

Be warned about the screaming fans, as the interview was filmed besides the stage and her fans went crazy over her! Other than that, the video is fairly short, but to the point. Sadly, she did not perform at this event, but she did do a meet and greet with her fans. However, you can see when she performed at the Glendale Galleria. for the same even. Last year, Demi Lovato released her pop/rock sophomore album, Here We Go Again, and now Lovato is, well, at it again. She’s back in the studio, but unlike her first two efforts, this one will sound a little less hardcore, as Demi embraces her inner-R&B diva.

“I’m really excited for working on new music in the spare time that I have before I go out on tour with the Jonas Brothers,” she told MTV News on Monday in Los Angeles at the VH1 Do Something Awards.

“I’m working on new music, writing new songs, trying to approach a different route, doing a new sound,” Lovato continued. “I’m really excited. It’ll be fun. It’s more R&B/pop.
